Writing, arithmetick both vulgar and decimal, with some
other parts of the mathematics, and also the Latin tongue,
are carefully taught at my school in Arch Street, by me
[signed] John Lloyd.
  Masters should have sound wit, and documents that's plain;
  Grandure and government, good orders to maintain:
  Tho' some ideots their schools do rear with bribes, the
cause,
  By ginger-bread and cakes, so they do win applause.
